Father's Day Salumi Gift Box | Italian Charcuterie Sampler | Tartufo, 'Nduja, Soppressata & Finocchiona

The Father's Day gift for the man who actually loves good food.

Four hand-crafted Italian salumi, made in Back of the Yards, Chicago — the historic heart of America's meatpacking district — using techniques our founder, Greg Laketek, learned during an apprenticeship under Massimo Spigaroli at Antica Corte Pallavicina near Parma. No cane sugar. No dextrose. Traditional starter cultures and slow, low-temperature fermentation the way it's been done in Italy for centuries.

What's in the box:

  • Tartufo (16oz) — Black truffle salami. Earthy, luxurious, and the kind of salami that turns a board into an occasion. For the dad who appreciates the finer things.
  • 'Nduja (16oz) — Spreadable Calabrian-style salumi with a slow, smoldering heat. Built for crusty bread, pizza, eggs, and pasta. For the dad who likes a little fire.
  • Soppressata (16oz) — Coarse-ground, well-spiced, hand-tied the old way. "Best Soppressata I've had anywhere, including Italy." — Food & Wine. For the dad who hosts the cookout.
  • Finocchiona (16oz) — Fennel-forward, aromatic, and surprisingly approachable. The salami that opens the board and keeps it interesting. For the dad who's curious.

Why this gift box is different:

Most American charcuterie is industrial. It's fermented fast with added sugar and fast acting cultures. It's sliced thin to disguise mediocre quality. Salumi Chicago doesn't make that.

We ferment slowly using the natural grape must in wine — the way Italian salumieri have done it for generations. We bloom our curing rooms with the same molds Greg worked with in Parma. Most of our salami is still hand-tied. The result is a clean, complex flavor that doesn't taste like anything else on the American market.

Perfect for:

  • Father's Day gifts for dads who'd rather eat well than receive another tie
  • Charcuterie board enthusiasts building their next spread
  • Wine pairings — exceptional with Barolo, Chianti, Lambrusco, or a smoky bourbon
  • Foodie gifts for hard-to-shop-for men, fathers-in-law, or grandfathers
  • Italian food lovers who appreciate authentic, traditional methods

Shipping & storage:

Ships from Chicago in insulated packaging with cold packs. Order by Thursday, June 18 for delivery before Father's Day. (Cold packs may arrive partially melted — this is normal for shelf-stable cured products and does not affect quality.)

Individually, these four products would cost $125. As a Father's Day gift box: $119. Bundled, packaged, and ready to ship to the man on your list.  Standard shipping is included.
